It is the largest and most revered temple complex on the island, comprising over 20 individual temples. Besakih Temple impresses with its architecture and breathtaking views of the surroundings. Major religious ceremonies and festivals are held here, leaving a profound impression thanks to the atmosphere of spirituality and tranquility.

Kintamani is an area in northeastern Bali, known for its scenic views of Mount Batur and the eponymous lake. Mount Batur, an active stratovolcano, reaches a height of 1717 meters and is a popular trekking destination. The ascent to the volcano's summit usually begins early in the morning to catch the sunrise and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Lake Batur, located within the volcano's caldera, adds a special charm to the place. In Kintamani, visitors can also enjoy hot springs, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation after a taxing climb.

Monkey Forest is a nature reserve where hundreds of long-tailed macaques live. Visiting the forest allows one not only to observe these interesting animals in their natural habitat but also to stroll among ancient temples and sacred statues surrounding the area.

Ubud Royal Palace, built in the 19th century, is an important cultural and historical landmark. Here, visitors can witness traditional Balinese architecture and enjoy performances by Balinese dance ensembles held in the palace courtyard in the evenings.

Ubud Market is the perfect place to buy souvenirs and local crafts. Here, one can find various products made of wood, textiles, jewelry, and artworks, making excellent gifts for family and friends.

Tegallalang Rice Terraces, located near Ubud, are among the most photogenic landscapes in Bali. These cascading fields, maintained by local farmers, create an impressive scene and offer a glimpse into traditional rice cultivation methods.

Puri Saren Palace is another historical building in Ubud worth visiting. This palace was the residence of local rulers and is an example of traditional Balinese architecture. Its grounds are open to visitors, and evening dance performances can also be witnessed here.

Goa Gajah, or "Elephant Cave," is an ancient temple complex dating back to the 11th century. The entrance to the cave is adorned with carvings resembling a face, believed to belong to an elephant. Inside the cave are shrines of Hindu and Buddhist gods, and the surrounding area includes pools and fountains used for ritual bathing.

Tirta Empul is a sacred spring and temple complex located in the village of Tampaksiring. The temple was founded in 962 AD and is a significant site for Hindu cleansing rituals in Bali. The water from Tirta Empul spring is considered holy and possesses healing properties. Local residents and tourists visit this temple to cleanse themselves and receive blessings by bathing in the pools with crystal-clear water.
